Basketball Programs and Leagues
This is an instructional coed in-house program for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 2nd grades. This program is focused on teaching young boys and girls the fundamentals of the game. The sessions will be on Saturdays at 12pm in November through January. Each session will start with 30 minutes of skills and drills, then finish with a 30 minute game. Each player will get a reversible jersey for games. This program plays on 9 foot baskets using an intermediate basketball (28.5 oz).
This program plays in an instructional travel league for boys and girls in 3rd and 4th grade. This league is focused on teaching the fundamentals of the game and transitioning boys and girls from intramural to competitive leagues such as JV and Varsity. Games are mostly played on Saturdays and practices will be one night a week. This program is a great place to start playing competitive basketball without the pressure of winning and losing.
The JV programs plays in a competitive travel league for both boys and girls in 5th and 6th grade. Practices will start in November. Games will start in December. Games and practices can be on any day of the week, Sunday through Saturday. This league has a Regional Playoff and Championship. Playoffs will be in February.
The Varsity programs plays in a competitive travel league for both boys and girls in 7th and 8th grade. Practices will start in November. Games will start in December. Games and practices can be on any day of the week, Sunday through Saturday. This program plays for a regional championship. The top 3 teams in the region will get a bid the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Championships. The winner of the AOP Championship will play in a State Championship.
The High School programs plays in competitive JV (9/10th grade) and Varsity (11/12th grade) leagues for boys and girls. The HS JV league has a Regional playoff and championship. The HS Varsity league has a Regional, Archdiocese, and State Championship.
